Zinc Based Casting

Longton Light Alloys also cast in a wide variety of Zinc Based Alloy Castings up to 5 tonnes. This is mainly used for prototyping and short run panels for such items as car bodies and has applications for the Marine Industry for such items as Sacrificial Anodes for ships hulls.

Zinc based alloys also have applications where excellent bearing and wear properties etc are required and is extensively used in hazardous area application such as the Mining Industry due to its non-sparking properties.
